Youth Ministry

Welcome to First Christian Church Orangefield’s Student Ministry.  Our ministry is to students in 6th-12th grades.  We have weekly meetings on Sunday mornings, Sunday nights, and youth group on Wednesday nights.  We have a couple of student conferences we go to each year, Hot Hearts in January and CIY during the summer.  We have mission trips and lots of activities all throughout the year.  Check out this page and if you need additional information please call our church office.  

Sunday School

We have graded small groups on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. at our church building.  There are groups for Junior High (6th-8th grades) and High School (9th-12th grades).  There are donuts and coffee available each Sunday and these classes are taught by dedicated teachers who love to share with you valuable truths found in God’s Word.  

Youth on Mission

Sunday nights at 6:00 p.m. is our Youth on Mission program.  There are classes for students in 6th-12th grades and they meet at the church building.  We begin in the auditorium for a short worship time and them split up into classes.  Come check us out.  

Youth Group

Our youth group meets on Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m. for our weekly youth group time called “Real-Life for Teens.”  This is open to all students in the 6th -12th grades.  Come join us this week.

Hot Hearts

The aim of Hot Hearts has been to impact the lives of students with the gospel message. Because Hot Hearts is led and organized by men and women who are passionate about working with students, the event is geared toward a younger crowd and strives to connect with students in relevant ways.   Students can expect a high-energy weekend on the level of many mainstream events held in larger cities, with professional production values in sound, lighting and video. Hot Hearts is also known for combining the messages of the most effective student communicators with performances from some of the most popular Christian music artists.   The event has grown and transformed over the years, but the vision of Hot Hearts remains the same – to ignite a passion for Jesus Christ in the hearts of younger generations.

Christ in Youth

Christ in Youth hosts student conferences each summer for Junior High and High School students in 6th-12th grades.  The Junior High event is called MIX and the high school event is called MOVE.  Due to COVID-19, these events have been cancelled.  If you have paid a deposit and would like it returned contact the church office or it will be applied to next year’s event.
