Four Best Places to Live

Hey everyone and we are still social distancing and yes COVID-19 pandemic is still with us.  How is everyone feeling?  Are you ready for this to be over already?  I sure am!

No Dogs Allowed

There’s a guy with a Doberman pinscher and a guy with a Chihuahua.  The guy with the Doberman pinscher says to the guy with the Chihuahua, “Let’s go over to the restaurant and get something to eat.”

 

The guy with the Chihuahua says, “We can’t go in there.  We’ve got dogs with us.”

 

The guy with the Doberman pinscher says, “Just follow my lead.”

 

They walk over to the restaurant, the guy with the Doberman pinscher puts on a pair of dark glasses, and he starts to walk in.  A guy at the door says, “Sorry, Mac, no pets allowed.”

Christ Is Risen

Christ is risen!  This proclamation isn’t just an event that we celebrate on Easter Sunday.  It is our Christian battle cry!
 
Christ is risen!  Notice the present tense is.  This isn’t an event in the past.  It is an ever-present happening that fuels our living and vibrant faith!  Christ is alive and working through you and me!  Christ is!  Right now!  Hallelujah!

Update

We hope and pray that you all are being safe and that everyone is in good health. Due to the recommendations by the CDC and the local authorities, we regret to inform you that the physical church facility will remain closed for at least until April 30. We will, however, continue to hold worship services and other events and classes online on Facebook. [Also working on another possibly way so more people can tune in.]

COVID-19 Information

Due to the recent COVID-19 Guidance updates from the CDC, the following operational changes have been implemented at First Christian Church Orangefield effective immediately:
 
• No On-Campus Activities, Meeting, Classes, or Programs will be meeting including but not limited to Children’s Ministry, Sunday Morning and Wednesday Night Youth Activities, Adult Sunday School Classes, Men’s Ministry, and Women’s Ministry.
• The March 22 and March 29 Worship Services will be live streamed on Facebook Live. You can access the Live Stream through the First Christian Church Orangefield Facebook page (www.facebook.com/fccof).
