The Church building has been decorated, Angel Tree is up, Christmas parades are being organized, Christmas program practice has begun and parties are planned, so it must be Christmas.  Yes there is truly excitement in the air!  But let’s not get so caught up in all of the activity that we forget what this season is all about.  It is about Jesus and the fact that a baby was born in a manger so many years ago who is the Savior of the world.

In December we are going to start our last sermon series of the year, “The Grinch:  Enlarging Your Heart.”  I hope that you will come join us for this exciting series that will lead us to Christmas this year.  On December 20th, during our 10 a.m. service we will have our Christmas program, “Star Trip:  Our Faith Awakens.”  Our teens and adults have been working hard and we are about to start our worship rehearsals for all those who would like to participate.  We will start those practices in December.

Please take some time and look at all great opportunities we have during the month of December.  There are all types of ways to get involved this December.  If you need more info or just want to talk about how to get more involved you can call me at the church.  Have a very Merry Christmas!
