Happy New Year

Another year is here, and it’s always a challenge to know what to say to each other that is new and enlightening.  I know we all have some bad habits that we should get rid of.  I’m sure there are also some good habits that all of us should develop as we head into 2016.  So to start the year off right, let’s try to break our bad habits and develop those good ones!

Let me offer a few reminders.  First, let’s all resolve to keep God first in our lives—to see and acknowledge Him in everything we do in every person we meet.

Second, let’s make prayer an attitude in our lives.  Rather than making prayer a mechanical activity—often used as a last resort—let’s try to live with a prayerful attitude.

Last, in our longing for peace and goodwill toward all people, let’s first promote those feelings among our friends, family, and co-workers.

I’m looking forward to another year together.  Thanks for all you’ve done and everything you’ll do in 2016!
